PROJECT SUMMARY
The project of Armin Trade Ltd. entitled “Resource Efficiency Improvement Project at Armin Trade Ltd., through site expansion and modern equipment acquisition” has been completed, for the implementation of which the company received 209.07 million HUF conditionally reimbursable EU funding from the European Regional Development Fund within the framework of the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme. The development was implemented under the Széchenyi 2020 programme.

Detailed description of the project content:
The aim of the development is to increase the competitiveness, added value and profitability of Armin Trade Ltd., to strengthen its role in the local economy and to improve its market position by improving its adaptability to modern business and production challenges. The company has developed its main activity of wholesale trade in chemical products in the framework of the call for proposals “Support for the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises to adapt to modern business and production challenges”. The project included the construction of a new office building, the purchase of equipment and the provision of training and consultancy services. The importance of the investment for the company is reflected in the continuous expansion of its activities. An important objective is to make warehousing and packaging activities more efficient and faster. To this end, 2 electric vertical order picking forklift trucks, 2 electric pedestrian pallet trucks, 1 electric three-post forklift truck, 2 manual hydraulic forklift trucks, 1 electric pedestrian pallet truck, 1 semi-automatic turntable packer and 1 perforator machine for the production of carton packing material were purchased. The newly built office building also includes the IT equipment (tablets, laptops, desktops, tower servers) necessary for the daily work of the employees. The renewable technology is implemented through a vacuum tube solar collector system. The implementation of the solar collector is designed to meet part of the hot water needs of the new building, contributing to environmental sustainability. In order to improve our adaptability to modern business challenges, 6 of our employees have received IT training to acquire and develop the specific skills needed to use and apply digital technology. To define the development directions of the company, branding and image building as well as organizational, process and management development consultancy.
The project was implemented at the company’s premises at Kishatár utca 17, 4031 Debrecen, Hungary.
The project is planned to be completed by 2023.08.31.
